Membership Details

All Members are required to complete and sign a membership form that includes details of any medical conditions or criminal convictions. Minors must have their membership form signed by a parent or guardian.

We also reserve the right to decline a membership application without having to give a reason for doing so.

Training Fees

Fees are charged to cover rent, power and equipment costs. Any surpluses are re-invested back into the school to buy more equipment etc. Our instructors give their time voluntarily and are not paid.

We offer one free trial class. Thereafter training fees are payable.

After the trail classes students start paying regular fees. We prefer that these be paid by automatic payment or through Internet Banking and in advance. We ask this because this is how our rent and other fees are charged.

Kukjae Club Discount

Current members of a another kukjae hapkido club may enjoy the following discounted rates

Grading Fees

These start at $30 for a promotion test from white belt to yellow belt, increasing by $5 per grade for all the colour belt grades.

Uniform

Beginners and Specialist Class students may wear loose casual clothing (e.g. plain T shirt, loose pants). A white martial arts uniform must be worn by regular members. These can be obtained through the club or at normal retail rates direct from a martial arts supplier.

Our recommended uniform is the standard heavy Judo style uniform which normally retails for approximately $150. We can obtain the same uniform for Club members for approximately $75.

Uniform patches are required for gradings. The patches are available to all students at cost ($40 a set).
