We are a kukjae hapkido club in Parnell, Auckland affiliated to the KHFNZ.

Club Location

The Parnell Kukjae Hapkido club trains at the Jubilee Hall in Parnell. This is located in the Parnell Community Center, 545 Parnell Road, Parnell. In what was the Blind Institute the hall and parking is out the back. There is normally parking available at training times be sure to use a park labelled "Jubilee Hall".

Currently ranked second Dan in hapkido, with 23+ years experience in hapkido (19 as an instructor), Mark is one of Grandmaster Lee's original New Zealand students.

Training Fees

Current fees are $130.00 per 3 month term.

An annual $15 equipment fee is used for the maintanance and purchase of training equipment.

The Parnell Kukjae Hapkido club is a strictly non-profit organisation, the instructors offer their time freely - training fees are used for hall rental. Any surplus fees are used to purchase focus pads,mats, and other training equipment.

Grading Fees

These start at $30 for a promotion test from white belt to yellow belt, increasing by $5 per grade for all the colour belt grades.

Uniform

Beginners and Specialist Class students may wear loose casual clothing (e.g. plain T shirt, loose pants). A white martial arts uniform must be worn by regular members. These can be obtained through the club or at normal retail rates direct from a martial arts supplier.

Uniform patches are also strongly recommended. The patches are available to all students at cost ($40 a set).
